We have a track record of completing some of the most challenging rural projects in the area, that involve specialized excavation, septic installation, water system installation and rough landscaping. The family owned and operated ADS is a full-service acreage development contractor who has spent decades building driveways, excavating basements, installing water systems and bringing our expertise in septic systems to clients of all types.
Screw Piles
Need quick foundation? Screw piles (or helical piles) are the answer. These are a steel screw-in piling and ground anchoring system used for building deep foundations. If you aren’t sure whether you’ll need this type of work, please consult with us. We can do a survey and prepare a custom quote that is no more or no less than what you need. We are connected right to the manufacturer so it’s no problem to have custom specs met in a timely fashion, plus with our in-house welding capability, we can fashion any type of pile cap or fixture to the piles with ease.
Pad Development for Your Arena, Barn, Shop or Site Preparation
We may not “drain the swamp,” but we have lots of methods of taking care of soft or “trouble” areas whether for access or building stabilization. This includes site prep for outbuilding installation. We can help level and fill the pad for carports, garages, sports fields and sheds. Please visit our website and take a look at our finished projects.

Tough Sites
We love challenges. With our specialized experience in tough sites, we understand how to take care of trees, steep slopes, rock, mud, or standing water. Not sure how to approach it? No problem, we’ve dealt with hundreds of situations and overcome obstacles with fantastic success – check out our project gallery for some of our toughest jobs.
Hauling, Tree Removal & Tree Planting
We don’t just move the dirt you already have. If you want new dirt (or gravel, recycled concrete, asphalt, washed rock for landscaping, or screened loam and wood chips) we can bring that to you, also. We can help you finish a hauling contract or move dirt for you. With a small fleet of tandem trucks and tag along pup trailers, we can move either a few yards of material or several thousand. Each job is custom so please contact us for an estimate.
We can remove trees, including the stump in a safe, environmentally responsible manner. This can be done alongside a current project (for instance, to move trees before basement excavation) or on its own. We won’t leave you with a mess – we always include back-filling, rough and finish grading, and topsoil filling as part of our projects. If you need planting and gardening services, let us know. We don’t handle the “softer” aspects, but we do know reputable landscapers that can help! But we will help you with your rough landscaping like digging ponds, setting rocks and building berms. We can even help you develop a perma-culture style yard if that’s your fancy!
